THERE IS MORE TO WOMEN’S WEIGHT LOSS THAN CALORIES…HEAR ME OUT!
We all grew up listening to a lot of BS advice on weight loss from pseudo dieticians and nutritionists.
Some suggested counting calories while others recommended skipping meals or going on military diets.
While all of these methods do bring the number on your scale down, they are neither sustainable, nor healthy in the long run especially for women who are going through peri-menopause or have reached menopause.
Because I went through my peri-menopause relatively painlessly, but I have seen my female family members, friends and colleagues struggling to understand their bodies’ nutritional needs.
When their bodies started changing due to natural cycles and their metabolism slowed down, they were also given all sorts of terrible advice, even by health professionals.
Some of the symptoms they constantly felt were:
Making bad (read emotional) food choices
Brain fog, lack of energy and consistent unproductive days
Worsening mental health
Insomnia and tiredness
Bloating and nausea
Mood Swings
Women go through this and much more in all phases of their lives due to the lack of only one thing i.e. Knowledge about nutrition and their own bodies.
Think of me as someone who will teach you about things that should have been taught to you by health professionals and the fitness industry. What you learn with me is what has worked on me and on many other people I have worked with.

Much of the research in the nutrition industry has been flawed or let’s say designed, or financed by those who hold profits in higher esteem than health.
For women who are over 40, things are worse.
Due to natural changes in our bodies as we age, we are often offered a one size fits all approach in the nutrition world.
Women’s bodies go through numerous changes after 40 or during peri-menopause.
As our bodies alter and our metabolic rate slows we need to adjust our nutritional habits to meet our own particular needs.
The loss of oestrogen and progesterone after menopause has a powerful effect on other parts of our body as well, which makes it even harder to follow the same ol’ calorie-focused methods.
